Layered Necklaces
Although the messy neck is still in full swing, many people are gravitating to a more sleek look with a simple chain on top and a statement pendant hanging below. The great thing about this trend is that you can really get creative with your stack and mix it up!
80s/90s Vintage
We’re talking oversized button earrings and bold, chunky metal pieces. Even chokers and brooches are making a reappearance. What vintage style are you going to rock this Fall? My favorite is chunky gold statement peices that I can incorporate into my everday wardrobe!
Hearts
Ahh, reminiscing on middle school days when we were obsessed with all things heart shaped. But seriously, how did this trend take so long to make an appearance?! Heart shaped jewelry is one of my favorites because it adds a fun and feminine flair, especially if we’re talking heart shaped gemstones.
Toi et Moi
We saw this trend a lot in 2023, and it’s still going strong. As celebrities continue to flaunt their two stone engagement rings online, more and more people are wanting one for themselves. We are even starting to see the Toi et Moi style on bracelets, necklaces, and earrings as well. Why have one stone when you can have two, right?!
Hoops, hoops, and more hoops
This is no surprise to anyone — Will hoops ever go out of style? Probably not considering they’ve been around for centuries. One thing is evolving though; many people are starting to move away from the classic minimalist hoop and gravitate towards unique textures, thicknesses, and even hoops with gemstone or pearl embellishments. Are you going classic or modern? Whatever your style is, there is no wrong answer when it comes to this timeless peice of jewelry!
Ear Party
I've watched this trend steadily grow in popularity since 2020; some might even argue well before that. However we are noticing a big change in the style of “ear candy”. We all used to get our ears pierced with stainless steel, and now there’s been a huge transition into solid gold piercing jewelry. We all hate the hassle of changing non-lobe piercings, so it definitely makes sense. Now we're even seeing people experiment with different shapes like fruit, animals, or anything funky and different, along with gemstones and diamonds. In the past, ear parties weren’t quite as fun and personalized because there wasn’t many options out there for non lobe piercings. I don't see this trend going away anytime soon, so if you've been on the fence about getting a new peircing - do it!
Cuffs and Bangles
This is another of my favorite trends because it easily elevates ANY look. Whether you’re into a giant cuff embellished with gemstones or a dainty textured bangle, you really can’t go wrong! Another reason I love cuffs and bangles is because they make a great compliment to dainty permanent bracelets, and they can easily be stacked together for a more bold look.
Pendants
Long pendants are finally making there way back into fashion after years of being unpopular among millennials and younger. Let’s face it, a long chain with a statement charm is the perfect compliment to a flouncy top or sweater. Not to mention it’s way less hassle to put it on with those long nails!
Pearls
Of course pearls never go out of style, but we are definitely seeing an influx in 2024. Most pearl pieces have been very traditional in the past like dainty studs or a strand of pearls from grandma. Because everyone wants something unique nowadays, we are seeing designers get super creative and stray away from those traditional styles. Be on the lookout for pearl pieces that are paired with colorful gemstones or chunky gold textures for a modern take on a classic look!
Colors
Colored jewelry is HUGE this year! So many designers are mixing different gemstones to get a rainbow effect, while others are using 1 or 2 large colored stones to make a bold statement.

Color of the Year- Peach Fuzz
You know some trends you just can’t get behind? This is one for me. Despite my birthstone being Citrine, I’ve never been drawn to this color family when it comes to jewelry. I personally love a strong contrast between stones and metal because it makes a statement. Nonetheless, people are loving the calmness of this unique color, and some even love that it blends with yellow gold.
Black

Black is one of those things that will NEVER go out of style. I love seeing it make such a come back in jewelry. We’re seeing tons of black enameling along with black accent stones and even center stones. A few to look out for are black diamonds, black spinel, and black onyx.
Fun fact: Onyx was the first gemstone mentioned in the Bible in reference to the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:12), and it’s brought up many more times after that.

Blue
Known as the most loved color universally, it’s no surprise it’s making its debut in the jewelry world. There has been a huge spike in blue engagement rings, specifically sapphire. If you’re wanting a fun accent piece of jewelry, the list goes on for blue gemstones. Just a few are tourmaline, topaz, lapis, aquamarine, zircon, turquoise, and of course the many shades of sapphire.
Greens

A touch of green can add serenity to any outfit as it’s often associated with happiness, nature, and balance. This explains why we’re also seeing an influx in green sapphire engagement rings varying from shades of bright lime green to deep forest green. If you aren’t looking for an engagement ring, some more green gemstone options are emerald, peridot, garnet, and tourmaline.

Purple
Purple being historically seen as the color of royalty and mystery, it’s no surprise that it’s making an appearance in fine jewelry. We are even starting to see some purple sapphire engagement rings. A few purple gemstone options include amethyst, passion topaz, purple spinel, purple garnet, tanzanite, and iolite.
Stones
Lab Grown Diamonds
This is a trend that I don’t predict will go away anytime soon. Having the exact same chemical composition as natural diamonds at a way lower price point; how could you say no?! Not to mention lab grown diamonds contribute to a more sustainable jewelry industry because it cuts out a lot of diamond mining. Let’s face it, millennials and Gen Z’ers are gravitating towards labs over naturals because they can get a way nicer, larger stone for a fraction of the cost, and there’s no visible difference between the two whatsoever. Needless to say, Dauvi supports the lab grown diamond industry!
Emerald
This is a gemstone that has been popular through centuries among many different cultures. People have always been drawn to the rich green coloration and the unique inclusions of a natural emerald. Though higher in price and maintenance than many other colored stones, these stunning gems are here to stay. Representing loyalty, peace, and security it’s no wonder why everyone wants to add one to their collection.
Sapphire
Sapphires come in every color of the rainbow and are almost as hard as diamonds, making them the perfect engagement ring alternative for someone who wants a one-of-a-kind stone. I think the biggest appeal of sapphires is that they each display a distinct coloration. With the help of advanced gem cutting technology, we can now cut them into speciality shapes, too. This unmatched combination of color and shape makes many sapphires impossible to replicate. No matter your style, there is a sapphire out there for you!
Tourmaline
With colored gemstones making such a comeback in the industry, it’s time for tourmalines to have their moment! Like sapphires, tourmalines come in every color of the rainbow, but you can normally find them at a much lower price point. Though not as hard as sapphires, they are still a 7.5 on MOHS Hardness Scale making them a great option for special occasion jewelry. This is a Dauvi favorite!
